The  concept of an audio walking tour of  Historic  Downtown Torrington originated with Stephen Warshaw, marketing consultant under contract with the City of Torrington.

Mr Warshaw  collaborated with the Torrington Historical Society to obtain a grant from the Northwest Connecticut  Community Foundation to fund the project.  Additional funding was provided by the CT DECD Office of the ARTS and the  Torrington Savings Bank.

The Torrington Historical Society researched and wrote the text for the audio segments. The voice recording were done by Jill Connolly of jillconnolly.com

The audio tour website was designed and built by Ed Cannata of emcinteractive.com,  Torrington  CT

The audio tour location signs were designed and installed by Craig Winsor of  Lines and Letters, Torrington CT.
